We have been made aware today that the Windows Updates from Tuesday 9th April 2024 for Windows 10 systems appear to cause an issue with the Datapath drivers.

The updates are pushed through as critical updates and after a reboot you are likely to see black being output on all screens, or issues where content is not displayed as expected on the video wall. Currently we are working on a resolution for this, however in the short term we advise against performing these updates.

The updates concerned are as below:

If you have already installed these updates and are experiencing issues you will need to either uninstall or rollback the system to prior to these updates being installed. You may need to connect a control screen to the onboard graphics to remove these updates, which may also require a reboot to detect the screen.
